The results are in from the new partnership between the Ohio Justice Bus and Ohio Kinship and Adoption Navigator (OhioKAN). The organizations teamed up this summer to help families with legal issues related to kinship care and adoption, traveling the state to host legal clinics in 21 Ohio counties.
The first-ever collaboration concluded with encouraging numbers. The Ohio Justice Bus and OhioKAN served 77 Ohioans with legal issues ranging from custody and visitation to kinship and adoption. Of the 45 clients who completed a survey about their visit to the Ohio Justice Bus, 100% were satisfied with the experience.
“The attorney was very patient and listened to my concerns,” said one satisfied client. “I greatly appreciated this opportunity.”
