What led you to this career?

My parents raised me with a strong sense of empathy, compassion, and a desire to help those in need. With that in mind, I knew that I wanted to have a career that would make a significant impact in the lives of others and the community.

I didn’t always know that I was going to be a lawyer, but I’ve always had a passion for learning. Throughout law school, I volunteered at various legal aid clinics. I found the work to be extremely fulfilling, and I saw firsthand how much legal aid clinics make a difference for people in need of legal services. Using my past knowledge and experiences, I knew that a career in public service was the right fit for me.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?

The best way to learn and grow is to step outside of your comfort zone.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m pretty good at trivia. I started watching Jeopardy! as a kid, and I still enjoy it today. It would be a dream if I could be a contestant someday.

Are you an early bird or a night owl?

I am a night owl, through and through. I really enjoy the peacefulness of a quiet night. My mind is free and clear to focus when I do not have the normal distractions that accompany a busy day.

What’s the last great TV show or movie you watched?

Saving Private Ryan. I am a huge fan of historical war movies, and I try to watch my favorites at least once a year.

What are you most looking forward to with the Ohio Justice Bus?

I am most looking forward to getting out in the community and assisting the underserved populations of Ohio. The Ohio Justice Bus is an incredible tool that has brought substantial change throughout the state. I’m so proud to be a part of a program that is making a difference within the community. Additionally, I am looking forward to traveling and seeing our great state. I grew up in Northeast Ohio and have lived in central Ohio for the last few years. I am excited to see the counties and cities I haven’t had the opportunity to visit.
