The Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation (OLAF) is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the Executive Director, the executive team and the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The administrative assistant is responsible for performing routine and highly complex administrative duties utilizing advanced technical skills. The assistant uses independent judgment on projects and assignments that are sensitive and confidential in nature.
Infrequent early morning and/or evening hours may be required from time- to-time in carrying out the primary duties and responsibilities of this job.

Primary Duties include: Supporting the Executive Director and other members of the team in all day-to-day activities; scheduling, coordinating and supporting meetings and events; maintaining the team calendar; creating and maintaining databases using spreadsheets and database management systems; organizing and maintaining electronic and paper files; maintaining inventory of and ordering supplies; processing donations, generating grant reports; supporting the Board of Directors and its committees, including maintaining board documentation, keeping minutes of meetings, preparing agendas, and preparing and distributing board packets; ensuring that the office operates effectively, efficiently and is well organized; process donations; type and design general correspondence, memos, charts, table, graphs, minutes and proofread copy for spelling, grammar, and layout – making appropriate changes.
The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director.
Qualifications – at least 5 years experience as an administrative assistant in an office management position, preferably having several years experience supporting senior leaders of an organization, ideally in a not-for-profit setting. Associates or college degree preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with office equipment and software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
