The Board of Trustees of the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation (OLAF) announces the search for a visionary, collaborative leader to serve as OLAF’s next executive director. Established by Ohio law in 1994, the Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization with responsibility for generating, collecting, managing and distributing funding for civil legal services to Ohio’s low-income residents.
The organization works collaboratively with six partner societies, the legal community, legislators, banks and other key stakeholders to ensure that all Ohio citizens receive adequate legal representation. OLAF’s next executive director will benefit from a well-respected Board of Trustees representing law, government and organizations that serve the interests of low income Ohio residents. OLAF’s experienced staff focuses on the management and distribution of funds, technology support, improvement of the legal services delivery system, and pro bono resource development. At OLAF, a committed, energetic leader has the opportunity to shape Ohio’s legal assistance landscape through vision and collaboration. OLAF’s executive director will be the catalyst for long-term, positive change – fulfilling OLAF’s commitment to provide justice for all.
