Support civil legal aid during the 24 hour Big Give on September 17th beginning at 11 a.m. by donating to Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation. Donations made to the Foundation will go directly to legal aids that help Ohioans who cannot afford an attorney for help with critical legal problems like unsafe housing, domestic violence, or barriers to employment. Ohio’s legal aids help to fulfill the promise of access to justice for all, regardless of income or circumstance.
The Columbus Foundation, the Big Give sponsor, will leverage donations by dividing a $1 million bonus pool. Big Give donations to the Foundation will be accepted by credit card only, through the Columbus Foundation website, with a minimum donation of $20.
