The federal Legal Services Corporation (LSC) has released the report of its National Pro Bono Task Force. The task force, charged by the LSC board of directors with identifying and recommending innovative ways to enhance pro bono throughout the country, recommends asking Congress to create a pro bono incubation and innovation fund and to allow lawyers to take on pro bono matters in jurisdictions outside the ones in which they are licensed to practice, among many others. Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation board member David A. Kutik of Cleveland served on the task force, as did Legal Aid Society of Cleveland Executive Director Colleen M. Cotter.
